PTO Events
Fun Run
The Fun Run is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised fuels our budget, allowing the PTO to fund classroom grants, lessen the cost of field trips, host family events, and show our staff how much we appreciate them.
Information for this event comes home in early September. Students work hard to fundraise and earn exciting prizes along the way. On the day of the event, students go through stations and exercise, with families coming to cheer them on!
Carnival
Save the Date for the 2025 Carnival: April 25 at Silver Spring Intermediate
The Carnival is a favorite tradition here at Marcy! Our committee works hard to put together a night of fun games and activities, delicious food trucks and so many memories!
We depend on many volunteers to make this night successful. Please look for information on the Marcy PTO Facebook page, Marcy Newsletter, and this page for updates on how you can help!
Family Night Out
Every month, the Marcy PTO hosts a Family Night Out at a local restaurant. We love this opportunity to get together with other Marcy families while earning a small percentage for our school. Check back often for updated information.

Family Movie Night
This popular event is back! We are in the planning stages of a Family Movie Night. Keep an eye on our social media and newsletters for information soon.
PTO Programs
Classroom Grants
The PTO is proud to put money raised from our Fun Run directly into our classrooms. Each staff member has an opportunity to apply for a grant to enhance the experiences of students in their classrooms. This year, we have allotted $9,000 to be dispersed three times throughout the year. Grants are presented and approved at our November, February, and April PTO Meetings.
We have also put aside $1,000 as a “Golden Ticket” grant. This grant is for requests made by staff that are time-sensitive. These requests have a $50 limit/person and are approved by our grant committee.

1st Day
School Supplies
In late Spring, you have an opportunity to order school supply boxes from 1st Day School Supply. It’s quick and easy! They will provide you with every supply on your child’s list. Look for this information on this page toward the end of the school year.
Shady Lane Fundraiser
Each Spring, we sell vouchers for Shady Lane Nursery in Menomonee Falls. You can get your yard ready for summer while you support your child’s educational experiences at Marcy. Marcy earns 25% from every voucher sold! This fundraiser typically starts in May and ends in late June.
We are currently in need of a coordinator for this fundraiser. If you are interested, please let us know.
Spirit Wear
Show your school spirit!
Spirit wear is sold in person at Kindergarten Screening and Great Start Conferences. Throughout the year, we hold online stores to purchase a variety of colors and styles of shirts. Typically they are held at the beginning of the year, October, and late Spring.
Our next spirit wear sale will be in October. Shirts will be delivered to Marcy by winter break. Information will be coming home soon.
